How To Find Us

We have our very own theatre situated in St Margarets Arts – 73 St Margarets Lane, Titchfield PO14 4BG.


The theatre is accessible by car. We are located on St Margarets Lane approximately 250 metres south of St Margarets roundabout on the A27. The theatre is clearly signed as our frontage can be seen from the road.

 

  • For satellite navigation systems our post code is PO14 4BG.
  • The Theatre is also accessible by an hourly bus. Bus number X4,4A,4B Southampton/Gosport. The bus stop is located a short walk away, approximately 4 minutes walk
  • The nearest railway station is Fareham or Swanwick, with a taxi and bus service available outside both stations
  • Accessible Taxi services are located in Swanwick and Park Gate. Tel No 01329 314413.

 

The Great Barn venue

We hold our annual Bard at the Barn – Shakespeare Festival at the C15th Great Barn situated at Mill Lane, Titchfield PO15 5RB. The Barn seats 170 with its own raked seating, bar and café area. This is accessible by car. We are located on Mill Lane approximately 250 metres north of the Titchfield Mill and 50 metres south of The Abbey Garden Centre. The Barn is clearly signed as our frontage can be seen from the road, drive up the long driveway the barn is situated at the top of the driveway. There is ample parking spaces on site for over 100 cars.

PARKING AT TITCHFIELD FESTIVAL THEATRE
Parking spaces are available on site; with our front bays reserved for disabled guests.

- across the road at St Margarets Nurseries (
NOT available for day time performances DO NOT PARK THERE)
- Abbey Meadows Car Park, Titchfield, Fareham PO15 5EA (FREE Parking)
- Titchfield Community Centre car Park, Titchfield, Fareham PO14 4TJ
- Barry’s Meadow, Southampton Hill, Fareham, PO14 4EH

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE LANE.

PARKING AT THE BARN
There is ample parking at the Great Barn for patrons.
Patrons can also have picnics in our enclosed garden. Please ensure you take all your rubbish away with you. We have no refuse disposal available at the barn.
Although the barn is completely enclosed so inclement weather will not affect performances we strongly advise patrons to bring warm clothing with them- it does get quite cold as soon as the sun goes down!


Accessibility

We welcome any disabled patrons but please let us know beforehand that you are coming. If we can be of help phone our Box Office before your visit, so we may make it run as smoothly as possible. St Margarets Lane has a disabled lift for access to Acorn and Oak theatres and disabled toilets.

Bars

We have three licensed bars which sell a selection of wine, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks as well as confectionary. The bars are normally open one hour before the start of each performance.Purchased refreshments can then be taken back to your allocated seat and consumed whilst sitting in the auditorium. Please place all empty cans and other packaging in the bins provided. Glasses can be returned to the bars on your way out. Thank you for your co-operation.

Our seats are not numbered but all seats are on a rake facing down onto the stage so all have a good view of the stage area.

Concessions

These are cumulative per ticket: 


£1 off Concessions includes: Seniors 60+, full time education (including teachers and lecturers), student cards, NHS workes/Carers/registered disabled/ HM Forces, Police and Fire Service.

Toilets

There are two sets of toilets at St Margarets and two disabled toilets both easily accessible to all patrons.

At the Great Barn there is a set of toilets at the rear of the barn and a disabled toilet.
