South Coast Symphonia

South Coast Symphonia is a distinguished professional orchestra based in Hampshire, renowned for its captivating performances across the south coast. With a proven track record of success at prestigious venues, the orchestra has become the premier choice for large-scale musical events in the region.



In August 2022, South Coast Symphonia made its debut with two sold-out concerts set against the stunning backdrop of Titchfield Abbey. Featuring 42 of Hampshire’s finest musicians, these inaugural performances marked the beginning of an exciting journey. Since then, the orchestra has performed at over 30 events, gracing venues such as Fort Brockhurst, Stansted House, and the Arden Theatre at Titchfield.

Beyond full orchestral performances, our musicians also appear as a chamber orchestra, pit orchestra, and in various small ensembles. We’ve proudly provided live music for numerous productions at Titchfield Festival Theatre, including Oliver!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Calamity Jane, and The Sound of Music.

With a strong ethos of support and development, South Coast Symphonia is committed to nurturing the next generation of professional musicians. To date, we’ve supported eight talented young artists, helping them build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to advance their musical careers.
