Delivered in partnership with Titchfield Festival Theatre and Gosport and Fareham Multi Academy Trust, this exciting vocational course immerses you in practical activity, performing in well-resourced theatre spaces and dance studios in professional and educational settings with teaching from specialist teachers and current professionals working in industry, opening doors to endless career opportunities.

This course is for post 16 learners who want to continue their education through applied learning, and it is widely recognised by industry and higher education. BTEC Nationals provide progression to the workplace either directly or via study at a higher level. The qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry and appropriate sector bodies to ensure the content and approach align closely to the needs of employers.

Qualification: Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts (601/7234/4)

A Level equivalent: 3 A Levels

Duration: Two years full-time Course dates: September 2023 - July 2025

UCAS points: Distinction*: 168 Distinction: 144 Merit: 96 Pass: 48

Assessment: 42% externally assessed, 58% internally assessed.

Career pathway: Completion of the course will give a pathway into a career in the Performing Arts industry or study at a higher level.
